Frequently Asked Questions
What is Align?
Align is a faith-centered platform designed to help Christians develop personally and spiritually before pursuing a relationship. Built on the Six Pillars of Relationship Fitness — developed by Thomas Marks, author of Relationship Fitness — Align gives you the tools, structure, and community to do the inner work that lasting love requires.
Who is Align for?
Align is for Christians who are serious about their growth. Whether you are single and preparing for a future relationship, healing from a difficult season, or simply committed to aligning your life more fully with God's design — you belong here.
Is Align a dating app?
No. Align is a personal development and connection platform. The focus is on becoming, not searching. Our conviction is that when you do the honest inner work first, the right relationships follow. Connection with other members is a feature — not the product.
What are the Six Pillars of Relationship Fitness?
The Six Pillars are the framework that underlies everything at Align: Spiritual Fitness, Mental Fitness, Physical Fitness, Financial Fitness, Appearance Fitness, and Intimacy Fitness. Each pillar represents a core area of your life that directly impacts your readiness for a godly relationship. Visit the Framework page to explore each one in depth.
Who created Align?
Align was founded by Thomas Marks, author of Relationship Fitness. After years of ministry and coaching work with singles and couples, Thomas was led to build a platform where the principles of the book could be lived out in community — not just read about in isolation.
Is Align free to use?
Align offers both free and paid membership tiers. Free members can access core features of the platform. Paid members unlock the full suite of tools, content, and community features across all Six Pillars. Visit the Membership page for a full breakdown.
How is Align different from other Christian platforms?
Most Christian apps focus on devotional content or matchmaking. Align focuses on development. We address the whole person — spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, and more — because we believe real readiness for relationship requires real work across every area of your life.
How do I get started?
Create your free account, complete your profile, and work through the Six Pillars assessment. You will quickly see where you are strong and where you have meaningful room to grow. From there, the community, content, and tools are there to support your journey.
How do I report a concern?
You can report any concern directly within the app using the report feature, or reach out through the support option in your account settings. Every report is reviewed by our team and taken seriously.
